Adam Equipment Attends
Pittcon 2011 Annual Conference

Atlanta, Ga. - Pittcon 2011 was held March 13-18 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Ga., attracting more than 16,000 laboratory technicians, chemists, students and researchers from 90 countries. The event spotlighted the latest in laboratory technologies and scientific instrumentation from more than 950 exhibitors, including Adam Equipment.

This is Adam Equipment's 12th year as a Pittcon exhibitor. Employees of the company were on hand at the booth to answer questions from conference participants about their range of balances and scales. Adam's exhibit featured analytical balances, top-loading balances, moisture analyzers, industrial and medical scales plus an anti-vibration table and other accessories.

Pittcon is the world's largest annual conference and exposition for laboratory science. It is organized by The Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy, a Pennsylvania not-for-profit educational corporation comprising the Spectroscopy Society of Pittsburgh and the Society for Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh.

The conference donates nearly $1 million each year in the form of science equipment grants, research grants, scholarships and internships for students, awards to teachers and professors, plus grants to public science centers, libraries and museums.
