Adam's CPWplus scales take to the skiesparaglider-1.jpg

United Kingdom - The British National Paramotor League held the second leg of its scheduled events at Boston Aerodome in Lincolnshire and Adam Equipment was there to help.

Adam Equipment's CPWplus scale was chosen by the league to accurately weigh competing pilots. Before pilots take off and after they land, they are weighed, to measure the amount of fuel used during flight. The pilots' fuel consumption is scored in proportion to their body weight. Everything except the wing is placed on the scale.

The process of measuring the pilot's body weight is for handicapping, allowing heavier pilots to be allocated a greater quantity of fuel than lighter pilots.

paraglider-2.jpgThe CPWplus scale is perfect for the task, as it features easy maneuverability with battery operation, a large backlit LCD display that is easy to read indoors or out, simple four-button operation, a hold/dynamic weighing function for a more accurate reading, and bi-directional RS-232 interface. The platform is the ideal size for pilots to stand on, measuring 11.8" X 11.8"/300 X 300mm.
